Our Approach
We draw our approach from Montessori and Reggio Emilia modalities. We shape our approach to each individual. As we observe each child in the environment, we offer new opportunities to meet their developmental needs. By trusting in the child's abilities, we hope to nurture a sense of self confidence that will guide them throughout their lives. In our classroom we take great care to model respect for each child and teach the foundations of grace and courtesy that we hope to see in the world.
About Miss Holly
Holly Ann Brooks Received her (AMS) Montessori certification in Birth-3 years old from West Side Montessori School. She also holds a BFA in painting from The Art institute of Boston at Lesley University. In addition she has done many workshops and training including: Reggio Emilia training, RIE training for infant Educarers, Anti-Bias education training and CPR. She has also participated in a multitude of post-graduate painting and contemporary art workshops in Italy and South Africa. She lives in Upper Nyack with her partner and two children.
